Refunds will be sent AFTER the event via Surfsignup for those who did not receive slots. No refunds for withdraws after Wednesday, September 9, 2020. ESA Easterns schedule may change throughout the week due to weather, wind, waves, tides, etc. The holding period for the event is September 20-26, 2020.
2020 Easterns® Invitation List
Please check this 2020 Easterns Invitation List to see if you earned a slot, or must apply for an
alternate slot to the 2020 Easterns®. Competitors signing up for the 2020 Easterns® are only eligible
for those divisions in which they competed during the 2019 District Season.
If your name is on this 2020 Easterns® Invitations List you will have until 11:59PM on September 1,
2020 to register on SurfSignup for your slot. If you register after that date, your registration will be
considered a late paid alternate and you will be put on the alternate list.
Alternates will be considered for any remaining open slots in the order of their registration on
SurfSignup. If your name is not on this list you may still register for an alternate slot, but only in the
divisions in which you competed during the 2019 District Season. Any competitor applying for entry
whose membership expires on or before September 30, 2020 must also renew their membership on
SurfSignup before registering for the event.
Invitations for the 2020 Easterns® are determined first by district membership size in each division,
then by a competitor’s ranking in that division. This is the same method normally used to determine
slots for Regionals. All eligible districts will receive at least 1 slot for each division with many of the
larger districts receiving 2 slots for each division.

Be sure to check the 2020 Easterns® Invitations List above before submitting your entry. Online registration fees will not be refunded if you register for a division that you are not qualified for.

Please read prior to registering If you opted for your 2020 ESA Regional entry to be used towards the 2020 ESA Easterns®, please send an email to info@surfesa.org to receive your code to use towards the 2020 ESA Easterns® entry fees. You must use this code when checking out in order to have your entry fees discounted for the difference. Failure to register without a code will result in paying full price for the Easterns® entry, and your Regional entry will be counted as an ESA donation.
